Modest Mouse seem to be releasing something titled Lampshades On Fire (probably a single). really hope this means the new album is finally near (and they can stop off at Glastonbury when it's released)

so they're definitely releasing a new album in 2015. this is good!

The possibility of a new NIN album is really exciting me, hoping for a belter

This. Loved the last one. Made a fan out of me.

Decemberists/Homme/Howlett.

These too, minus Decemberists.

Also Dylan, Bjork, William Elliot Whitmore.

Oh and The Chris Robinson Brotherhood. The last one was shit.

Ys is on my turntable right now, by sheer coincidence, there are very few things in this world that are like this album.

People will still be trying to decode it years from now. The others are great albums, but way more conventional - Y's is the one that feels like a complete original.

Well put, one of my favourite albums and definitely my favourite of her's.

Do we think the Park is the most likely place for her to be then? That'd be just beautiful.

This is the album, some of the most heart-breakingly beautiful collection of songs ever.

Y's and have one on me are ace, but can't get near milk eyed mender.

Probably the only artist left for me to see

Seen twice, once before anybody knew of her, in a tiny venue of maybe 60 people and later on at the Royal Festival Hall. Brilliant both times. Oh and a Cameo at a Roy Harper gig there also!

Sprout and Bean for me as it was the first time :)

Not to be missed if you get a chance.

    • As first timers last year the whole set-up blew our mind with the fire on the Sunday, it seemed you could get too close and I didn’t like dodging falling embers!
    • I'd be absolutely amazed if they went without a female headliner.
