Kink on Arcadia would be the absolute berries

You have to stop suggesting artists for Arcadia, Mez.

You always suggest something that would be incredible.

It only hurts more when the disappointment comes!

Ben

Edit: I'll be properly cross now if the line-up and weather gods do not conspire to give me one almighty night at the spider this year.

Me also Benjamin, for some reason I have abnormally high hopes for us this year

I'd never expect Dixon to come, is Villalobos in that same bracket?

as much as I'd love him to play I think Ricardo is a bit difficult to book

He's like the the prince of electronic music, getting him on stage at a decent time wouldn't work in Glastonbury's favour.

Plus they'd need to get him on a 3+ hour slot, otherwise it wouldn't be worth it.

EDIT: He also prefers to play within the 6am - 12pm region... which might not really work at Glastonbury because I can't see a venue willing to do that

Ah fair enough.

the last two dekmantel he played quite early (and I don't think for that long) so I don't think the time/length would be an issue-also he seems to be playing loads of dayfests, not that this makes him any more likely.

I know this is showing a distinct lack of imagination, but every time someone suggests Arcadia, I think it sounds like it's going to be cold, because it's outside.  And right now, it's quite cold outside.  I seem to be struggling with the concept of seasons.

Ricky V played Lovebox last year, wouldn't read too much into him doing late sets, would imagine most DJ's only play Glastonbury for the experience of playing Glastonbury, certainly not for the fee anyway.

Not really arsed by him anyway, always found him to be a bit boring, but that's the same for a lot of that sort of house/techno for me.

he cancelled

Also Villalobos b2b Craig Richards has just been announced for arcadia at love saves the day! Any chance Glasto could get the same?

It might be outside but at least you're stood next to the world's biggest bunsen burner.

Ah, I didn't realise because I wasn't too fussed about him, he has been announced again this year so I'm sure he is open to playing whenever, wherever.

no worries - it's hard to explain but you can tell he prefers later night sets to daytime sets

Either way, Love Saves The Day booking him for arcadia looks pretty promising for Glastonbury in my mind

Get him on Arcadia from 12 - 2 then a "closing set" in the Temple 3 - 6 on the sunday, would be grand

I can't see it, I'd love to see it, but I just can't see it

I think they'll stick with a b2b for closing in the Temple after the successes of Jack b2b Joy and Jobse b2b Ben Ufo

I'm also very much hoping Denis Sulta makes his maiden voyage to the farm for the weekend, he's on form at the moment

If temple turns out to be denis sulta I think i'l hang my head in shame

they can do better than that, probably the shittest dj around in my opinion

Jackmaster b2b Joy O, Ben UFO b2b Job Jobse ... non comparable to sulta  - they can do better than that

Craig Richards b2b Ben UFO, Ben UFO b2b Joy Orbison, Pangaea b2b Pearson Sound, much better choices than sulta

he's probably more

he very much plays events whereby he has a long standing relationship with the promoter, unless the offer is exceptionally high. Glastonbury doesnt fit into this. If he was ever coming, he'd have played by now

On the other hand, promising about the villalobos appearance at love saves the day as they book parts of Silver Hayes. But that means in the unlikely event he plays it would most likely be in Silver Hayes.
