Layla Benitez for me too, had her Exit 2023 set on repeat all day, 100% a must see for me on the Sat night.

Last 30 min of this is amazing. Is this her normal style? I know a lot of DJs play a different set for Exit, particularly when the sun is back up.

Does the bug have a fixed location? I know I’ve seen it at the bottom of the park.

I've only seen it in the Arcadia field regularly. Spent 2 hours there on a Saturday afternoon dancing to some random nonsense with lovely strangers last year. The bug brings people together.

I'm not sure actually, going to explore more of her sets now too are if the general vibe is the same.

Looking for some suggestions. Confession that I am probably older than 95% of people in this thread, so struggle with the harder stuff. But anyone I should be looking out for along the lines of Ben Bohmer, Nora en Pure, Chicane sort of vibe?

Others will give more/better ideas than me, but I would think the Bonobo DJ set might be a good fit for you.

Don’t think there’s a whole lot of options this year, Bonobo definitely the prime choice.

He’s doing a 2 hour DJ set at The Levels which will hopefully be something like this….

I’m really liking this Ewan McVicar set, any similar acts I should keep my eye out for?

Not my area of dance music expertise, but I think Eats Everything and people like Mella Dee are your best bet.

Yet more Friday clashes then! Was already torn between LCD sound system and Heilung at that time and now thrown this one in the mix too! What to do????

Max is doing an ambient set though, it won’t be the style you’re accustomed to

I mean his regular show which I've seen a few times has ambient moments so I'm well aware of what it will be.

Depends how chilled our the OP wants there electronica to be I guess

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
