Caribou literally did glasto last year, 100% possible. Incredible set at WHP last year as Daphni.

Oh yeah, i adore daphni sets! But again caribou have played loads but he has never dj’d as daphni at Glastonbury ever (i dont think) therefore there must be a reason for that. That reason will likely be a combination of stage / sound and cash.

I think he’d go down a treat on IICON. But dont think it will happen personally.

I'd be hopeful that we get Jayda G back this year, her 2019 set on Wow was electric, and I've seen her a few times in between and it's always great.

Incase anyone hasn't seen her vibe, it's house, disco kinda soulful, just a great time really.

Love her but never managed to catch her live, so would be very much down for this

Having received an email yesterday for the Chemical Brothers tour - surely they are absolutely nailed on to DJ Arcadia this year after last year's disappointment? I see they are back in Europe around that time with a Glastonbury shaped gap in the tour schedule

Anyone think Bicep could play again?

I'd say it's very unlikely to be honest.  From stage headliner at West Holts, there's nowhere for them to go this year.  You might get one or the other doing a DJ set somewhere but they are touring Europe until they come back for Reading and Leeds in August.

So I really didn't see them coming back, but then I looked at their schedule and there is a pretty big gap. Either way I don't think it would be a headline or any main stage performances. I think more likely you could maybe catch them doing a DJ set or two somewhere, kinda like previous years. Or maybe they'll just go as a punter with their mates!

Far bigger than this now, unless they were on Arcadia would be silly busy even if it is just a dj set i reckon

One of them under their real names or another moniker maybe.

Yeah thats fair, I actually didn't love their DJ set on arcadia a few years back. Agree though it would likely have to just be a turn up and play sort of deal if they did.

Really curious who our we might get on Park this year, Fourtet was a highlight last year, Joe Goddard in 2017, would love another good sub or headliner on there, the stage is perfect for it.

Ah I didn't hear that. The set at printworks was incredible - probably my favourite show out of the 10 or so times I've been (I was at the 2021 set there too but with it being just before covid it was only around 50% capacity). They said last year that they'd wanted to play Arcadia for years, so does feel a bit like they have unfinished business.

They said it on an instagram post after the printworks show

I'm pretty sure the 2021 show was fully sold? Both shows only had the main room open and possibly people were no-shows (i think it may have been tube strikes if i recall?) so maybe thats why it seemed less busy.

Think i preferred the first time at printworks myself, both were fab tho!

Hope they do some indoor London shows outside of Greenwich!!

2021 was fully sold out, but a lot of people didn't turn up because it was about a week before Christmas and covid cases were ticking up (they cancelled the Ritchie Hawtin show the following week too which I'd been looking forward to for ages). I had 8 tickets for me and my friends and only 1 came with me in the end. Wasn't able to get rid of them on ticketswap and I ended up selling 4 of them to a tout at the door for a fiver each at about 5.30pm (doors "closed" at 5). Never bought tickets for my mates ever since...

The 2021 show was brilliant mind, it was quite nice being in printworks without it feeling overcrowded like it has done in recent years but last year's just seemed a level above. Got my tickets for Manchester today but fingers crossed they do turn up for an Arcadia set.

Got tickets for Chems O2 date.

Taking my little boy to his first ever gig.

I’ll obviously let him make his own choices in life, but I’ll be trying my hardest to ensure he loves dance music!

How much were standing tickets? Can’t seem to see the price online

Copped for Chemical Brothers also. I’ll never get bored of seeing them.

Bought two tickets for Overmono (dj set) at Rough Trade East on Thursday 11th May, but I forgot I have visitors coming to stay then.

Two tickets for £12.50 each if anyone here wants them, it’s sold out now but I can’t seem to put them on the Dice waiting list.

    • TVOD are playing Blue Basement in London 2/9 with a complete EOTR/Psych Fest shaped hole before their next gig in Lyon on 8/9. Well received in the Big Top last year, reckon they're nailed on for a secret set in the Tipi.
    • Didn't they widen the entrance last year to enable them to increase the number of pitches or have I imagined this? Perhaps they might return under a different form of glamping?    Just had another thought - Or even rent the land to the festival for CV pitches.......
    • It should forever be the Tipi.   Just as the news about Geese was shared on Twitter.
    • It really surprised me that Rock AM Ring made Download feel like an extremely well organised festival with good communication in comparison. If we were to ever try either of them again we would go for IM Park and stop in Nuremberg.     Agree that the long thin mainstage isn't great, but where the mainstage is makes it really hard to navigate when it is busy because of that choke point created by the food vendors, bar/lounges with a view of main and where the crowd is coming form second stage. The concrete is hard on the joints. The front standing is a pisstake and the communication from the fest about what is happening on site other than which campsites are filling up leaves a lot to be desired. Car parks being a free for all doesn't help either.   I think it really suffers being so far from anything other than small towns/villages that lack proper public transport and Koblenz being the closest town which you can can use to get public transport to the fest being 60km away.
    • Yeah its absolutely on me that isn't think Shinia Twain was an awful choice- i get that.  Im still of the paul simon, ELO kind of thoughts but I realise things change. Im still intrigued what constitutes legend though. Robert plant played and he wasn't a legend slot- to me that would have fitted. Is it a ' comedy ' ' good time ' slot now? Comedy isn't the right word - guilty pleasure or something like that?
