By all accounts Sasha's live show at the Barbican last night but mind blowing. If only he'd got it ready in time to book Glastonbury. This would be sublime at the Glade or Silver Hayes somewhere...

Super super jealous. Really wanted to go. I absolutely love the Scene Delete record. Be pretty sweet if he could tour that.

At least he's on the Sunday. It's really all about the Friday

Absolutely.

I can't think that many of us will be near the Grimy Spider (see what I did there), come Sunday...

As Mez said - it's about TechnoFridayTM

I've been thinking.

This paucity of techno (and there genuinely is one; it's not just me being a self-obsessed whiner) is quite 'exciting' in a way.

It's almost as if those who follow the True Path are being made to work harder; to seek out little islands of driving, mesmeric bleepy glitch, in a sea of otherwise identical fodder!

When that full line-up drops, I'm gonna scour it to within an inch of its life. No techno stone will be left unturned.

:)

Thursday and Sunday need filling more than Friday, anyway, given the current dates we know.

Would be... more than surprised if those guys above are playing the Beat Hotel.

How do we know the Spider is techno on friday? Did I miss an announcement :o Or are we guessing based on previous years?

Guess work / people hoping.

Hunee & Antal flows quite nicely into Sasha and John Digweed. That looks like it might be my Saturday night.

Definitely guessing going on the previous few years since the spider has moved

What I'd give to see that show on the Glade through that Funktion One system. Xpander is one of the best tunes of the past 20 years and still sounds amazing today. That version gives it a whole new dimension. Fantastic.

i don't know if we have discussed this yet but moxie has confirmed her days and stages! The shangri la one is curious as i don't think she is on their lineup. She could be playing the rocket lounge tho.

Stonebridge set is a b2b with Leon Vynehall

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
