The Who?

Saw the Quadrephenia tour last year and they were far from being over the hill, Rogers voice is still amazing and Pete nevef stopped jumping around. Brilliant show

I hope not, they headlined in 2007 and they were over the hill then..

Have to disagree...I thought it was a great set...thoroughly enjoyed it. Saw them in Sheffield a few months prior to Glasto where they did more of the Fire and Ice stuff and said to my lad that they would need to change the set for headlining the Pyramid. They did and it worked. (Far better headline set than Springsteen who I was really looking forward to but felt a bit disappointed by - but maybe that's just me :P )

only 8 years?

that's the whole of The Beatles recording career

And the same time between Woodstock and Never Mind the Bollocks.

The Beatles thing is mad though. Its like a band releasing their first album in 2006, breaking up now and having that impact.

In a bizarre coincidence, 8 years is also the same time between First Offence and The Beatles covers live album!

The Who are still well capable by the way. But these classic acts playing the old songs never headline twice do they?

That rain though!
