It's hardly going to take him that long to churn some more shit out is it?

Was just under 3 years between his first two albums. Now I think about late 2016 rather than 2017 is probably more likely. Doubt he'll have one out for next summer anyway.

Queens are playing somewhere in Sept, aren't they? Sunday night Pyramid headline slot as their final UK show for a few years. Cracked it, nice one lads.

Yeah they're doing Rock in Rio. There's a listing on seatwave for a gig in Leamington Spa in October but I'm guessing that's not true

Closing time is a dangerous album, I have to be really careful when I listen to it, it's so fucking powerful that it'll mess me up for a couple of hours (sometimes days) after I listen to it, staring out the window ruing the relationships I've fucked up, the mess I've made of things etc. It's a fucking deadly album. Stunningly beautiful and utterly vital but not without consequences.

Never listened to this album, just bought this album - purely based on this. Swear down

Because we're not THAT delusional.

Would be completely out of nowhere and incredibly unlikely. Not gonna happen, as awesome as it would be.

He's singing daft punk are DJing and Prince is playing guitar....

Don't know if any have seen NGHFB's latest poster they've put out. Specifies only UK headline shows, could be on the cards for the sunday? Sub probably?

Noel's already said it's unlikely he'll be there. He seems to see himself as a headliner now anyway (as the poster suggests) so can't see him subbing.

    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
    • Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
