I actually think the opposite - I think they've had the 'special' one in Kanye, and the third will be announced with the entire lineup so that if people aren't as impressed there's a million other things to look at as well..

This is what I beileve also. The only way the third headliner is 'special' is if the full announcement comes with a lovely TBA on it

It's got to the point now that those trolls have made me so pumped for the Roses I'll be disappointed if it's anyone but them. Not even Jesus Christ himself playing jazz flute or 2Pac rocking up from the dead would suffice, let alone the potential prospect of Gary Barlow and the rest of Take That belting out their unique brand of absolute garbage from the Pyramid stage. You F****** B******* trolls!!!

The more I think about the delay in announcing the third headliner .. The more I convince myself it's someone 'special'. Makes no sense to not have announced it otherwise. There really is no reason to delay this late.

Metallica weren't revealed until well after this time last year.

Yeah as far as I know (friend who is web designer and has been known to do festival websites and the like) they use names from the lineup from the previous year to create a new template for this then just replace the names when they are told them (obviously a few adjustments would be needed due to name lengths) also this can all be done in a day.

makes sense. As I understand it, T in the park just work with 2 templates these days and rotate them :-(

Going to see these in a few weeks. Are they a possibility for west holts do you think :-)

Well they're around, and efests currently has them down as a rumour.

someone who does know some bits and pieces said that he thought they are, tho i'm not entirely clear if that was from info or a guess based on the fact that Clinton is in the country at about that time.

My personal view is that I'll be mildly surprised if its Clinton again, cos he only headlined a few years ago.

    • as if by magic... (but don't tell anyone that it isn't that easy to just cut welfare and that maybe taxes will have to go up)
    • Lost my love of football years ago so I pay very little attention to it these days but I'm really enjoying Max Rushden's video diaries of his flat share with Barry Glenddening. I think Barry might kill him before the end of the tournament
    • Not sure if we had a si glow weekend goer on here last year so will be good to have a proper review of the new format
