Isn't Couchy the filthy one on here? And he's religious?? Christ Couchy, you are going to hell!!

I'm imagining him in the confession booth, atoning for fringe spaffing.

Imagine him in the confession booth atoning for cracking one out in the confession booth whilst imagining TSwift in the other side of the confession booth.

Or lets just hope he's at a boring wedding or christening.

I hope Chvrches are there. "Get Away", what a tune.

They played last year didn't they.

Not sure that puts them out of the picture, I know they're recording a new album at the moment.

Would they let you get married or christened on a Christian ceremony day? I feel they might have bigger stuff going on, like you'd tell them you want that day and they go "Oh, yeah, of course we'll marry/christen you on Good Friday, obviously there's the crucifixion of our Lord and savior and that, but you're so much more important..." all sarcastically and then walk away swishing their vicar robes in diva style.

Well...since you put it like THAT!!!

If I had robes I'd be swishing them at every given opportunity.

Just catching on this thread. It's not helping my hangover. Although it is amusing. Poor buggers last night at 10. Shame as it sounded like good info.

Anyway...as you were

I know a religious fella at work who reckons his service is for 5 hours.

FIVE HOURS!!

Fuck that, I'll take the eternal damnation if you don't mind.

5 hours? Wow. My family are Irish Catholics....never had a 5 hour church session and I've been to loads of Irish weddings!!

I went to a comedy night last night...me ma called me this morning to inform me one of my friends was at mass....And god forgive me for still being at bed at 10.30!! I've asked her to pray for The Cure to be the 3rd headliner...and this is my church and she should try it. She was not impressed!

    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
