hamishrankin
If Biffy were to headline Download i'd really hope they'd do an obscene setlist consisting of their older/heavier music seeing as it is Download
hamishrankin
Black Stone Cherry is a definite
dentalplan
I could see Biffy headlining Download next year between album tours. I think they'll do Glastonbury on the next album tour so next year might be only opportunity for them to play Download for a while. Or Soni I guess. Dead throne
I would love to see Biffy headline. Throw in ADTR, Architects and Shikari and you've got a fucking magnificent day.
Luke Routledge
Just read a interview with Nate saying Foos have some plans for the anniversary next year plus doing the festivals. I can see them being the first headliner announced
dentalplan
They were always gonna be doing festivals somewhere. The 'special plans' probably increases the chances of them doing large shows here instead of festivals.
luckysalt
You just confirming an obvious fact or have you heard something about next year lucky? Oh and everyone on the dl forums is assuming that the Gnr foos info was you, are they right? I'll PM you.
foolee
@luckysalt not sure if this is being really cheeky but you couldn't PM me as well please? I'd just like to keep check on anything Foos may be doing next year. Edited September 12, 2014 by foolee
Andre91
Yeah, I was hesitant to ask, but if you could drop me a pm it would be greatly appreciated.

Andre91
Has anybody else seen the video for Slipknot's new single 'The Devil In I'? I think it's bloody brilliant. I don't like Corey's new mask, but the masks that the new bassist and drummer are wearing are pretty cool, they're a bit like the Maggot mask. On top of the video, I think it's a great song. lharris92
so its just me who prefers for the announcement to not be known and out of nowhere. must be in the wrong place if so...

justanothername
lets just all calm down about the foo's, right now they are rumoured for every bloody UK festival There is a big difference between a rumour and people speculating about who will play
luckysalt
Foos were the number one target for next year, it looked like it could happen but it seems like its no goer after all. However, nothing is set in stone right now either way. But it would seem it won't be happening. Sorry guys!
dentalplan
Am I right in thinking Foos couldn't agree with Download in 2008 because of their stadium shows? Might be the case again.
Matt42
Queens to headline download then? Queens Of The Stone Age - Guns and Roses - AC/DC slipknot either at soni or r&l as a sub
dentalplan
I know Lucky will come in and tell me it's they're not or something but I reckon Slipknot are firmly in the bag. If Slipknot want to do Download (and Corey said he'll be there) then they'll play. If Foos' stadium dates rule them out, I would imagine it rules QOTSA and AC/DC out too as they'd also be doing them. Slipknot/Biffy/GNR I reckon. Edited September 14, 2014 by dentalplan
Matt42
Just Download getting slipknot back feels too predictable even by their standards Don't see Biffy... maybe they could get Slipknot, G&R and AC/DC

Queens Of The Stone Age - Guns and Roses - AC/DC slipknot either at soni or r&l as a sub Slipknot will probably play Soni but they could easily do Download too and I doubt they'd sub at R&L Edited September 14, 2014 by justanothername
Matt42
It's gonna be interesting when bands start getting announced, seems like we could actually be in for a good year of headliners. Some big acts are 'around' right now.
FloorFiller
if they have Slipknot again then they're gonna need two impressive headliners to counteract the repeat booking. to be fair, Slipknot headlining next year wouldn't be any worse than them headlining in 2009 and 2013 - at least they'll have new material this time round
