What new(ish) acts are you planning on seeing on the lineup?

I would definately reccomend darlia and royal blood, then if you like some good grungy blues I'd reccomend drenge, I'll be seeing all three :)

Saw Royal blood last October at Hull fruit in front of about 10 people (not being one of them people like I saw them first) their rise in popularity in 8 months has been amazing and full deserved, hopefully I will get to see them at glasto.

Coves are top of my list to see though, one of the albums of the year for me so far.

Agree with Royal Blood, but also George Ezra, Hudson Taylor, King Charles, London Grammar, Lucy Rose, Luke Sital-Singh (sorry if some of these aren't that new - they're new to me!)

It's going to be a really good on for new music I reckon

Must confess I've actually seen drenge and darlia not long ago at the dot to dot festival in manchester, both were incredible live acts but I think darlia must have only been playing to about 20 people. It will be interesting to see how far they go :D

Fat White Family are pretty much coming out of every festival with new fans, it wouldn't surprise me if their popularity as a live act begun to surge, so catch them at one of the many performances they're doing this year. Just don't be surprised if you see a penis.

Really don't get many of the hotly tipped acts, the likes of Royal Blood, Fat White Family and Superfood. Just struggle to see the appeal completely. I know Royal Blood are dead loud and that, Fat Whites get naked, not sure what Superfood do.

Don't get me started on how dull Circa Waves are.

Courntey Barnett - Lo-fi singer-songwriter for fans of Pavement etc.

Jungle - Funky-cool-electronic duo. 7-piece live. Already got the live show nailed. Gonna be very big.

Jagwar Ma - Not really new. Everyone's got the idea by now. Brilliant modernisation of 90s baggy rave.

Lxury - Melodic house music. Worked with Disclosure, signed to Joe Goddard's (Hot Chip/2 Bears) label

All We Are - Funky chillwave. Bee Gees on Diazepam

    • My understanding is that the queues returning back to the UK will be much worse (up to two hours) but the queue entering Lisbon isn’t so bad. That’s just from reading a few forum posts about it though so take it with a pinch of salt!

    • World Cup 2026: What is happening with ticket prices? - BBC Sport   Sounds like Infantino has been learning from his buddy if he's running around claiming its all sold out while quietly dumping tickets below face on assorted secondary websites.
    • Mac DeMarco also cancelled
    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
