Why they decided to do that set at the bloody iTunes festival I have no idea.

Almost 10 years to the day it was released, and it's broadcast for all to see.

But it was shit because of the crowd? Fans will want to see that, so why not do an arena if you plan on it?

To be fair, they might not have wanted to make a big deal out of it. They're only ten years down the line and there wouldn't be much use doing specific nostalgia shows in the middle of promoting a new album. I'd think it tacky personally.

Yeah but you'd think they'd do it at one of the other smaller shows they're doing around now. Isn't there one tomorrow somewhere in London? Chris Wolstenholme from Muse said about the iTunes festival "it's just a tv appearance" and I think this is it completely. The crowd looked so bad during the entire album set last friday - a waste of an opportunity in my opinion.

Elbow fans are likely to have jobs and school runs and stuff so the queuing hype won't be as hyphy.

No idea, iTunes must like me. Been multiple times every year since 2011 (only once for The Killers in 2012). 13 nights overall I think. Girlfriend won David Guetta ones in same draw last week so we had 4 between us.

Lineup is really bad this year and wouldn't really pay to see any of the acts i've won so far (David Guetta, Elbow, David Gray and Kylie), but for free i might as well check them out. The only ones i really want this year are the Ben Howard ones.
