The more I think about it, the more I think it was the Chemical Brothers in 2011. Which surprises me a bit.

Off the top of my head for Pyramid: Basement Jaxx 05, Blur 09 and Stones last year.

Having read this thread - throw in Neil Young too. Have you ever seen a film that gets better after you've seen it and stays with you? That Neil Young gig's a bit like that.

Fascinating that quite a few people have mentioned Springsteen and a mention also for U2. Both were bands that had a lot of flack on these boards in the lead up to the fest. Just shows that what works for some doesn't for others.

I love Springsteen and have seen him a good few times but was disappointed with his Glasto set.

I think it also depends on the mood you were in and the company you were with at the time. I still have great memories of The Who as a Pyramid band. Other stand outs for me over the years have generally been non-pyramid acts like Bonnie Raitt on West Holts and Glen Tilbrook and The Fluffers in the Leftfield.
