Yeah I meant a Kurt Vile set rather than joining them on stage. But either would be cool.

Do we reckon Acoustic Stage or Park?

Hmmmm....

As long as they don't put them in Williams Green!!!!1

Can't think of any place better for both of them than the park

I was thinking before that I half hoped they'd be on Pyramid as I think it'll work. It'll be early enough in the day to not suffer from having people waiting for other acts bored silly.

I hope your right. I just think that massive gap between stage and crowd wont help at all. meh. The park was perfect.

Tame Impala did Pyramid and The Park in 2011 didn't they

Haim did the Park and Pyramid last year. Vaccines did Pyramid and Other in 2011. Warpaint did Other and John Peel in 2011. But I'm fairly sure they don't announce that until the stage times are released - so TWOD could still play a slot on the Park/John Peel perhaps.

As I said above I'm just worried about a clash with BJM who are also on early.

I dunno I reckon BJM would be on late enough. London Grammar? Chromeo? Clean Bandit? Who the f**k are they?

    • Sabrina I actually think is alright, but as an overall thing including Fontaines in the mix it does look very boring.
    • I went to the O2 show as had cheap NHS tickets. I did love the whole Machine Gun Kelly vs MGK Emo/Pop Punk stuff amusing and could see that show going down well. I thought it was so funny watching the video skits of a die hard old skool fan gradually morphing in to an Emo Kid. That show with less old Machine Gun Kelly tunes and more MGK Pop-Punk would be ace.   Pair him against a heavy act on the other stage and jobs a goodun,
    • Not sure if this is allowed, but I have an additional daily ticket which I’m willing to sell for a heavily reduced price. If you, or someone you know wants to go that day, but wouldn’t for the original price, let me know.    Edit: It’s for Friday
    • Couple of standing tickets left on ticketmaster if anyone is still trying
    • Choosing  I think boycotting a festival you would usually attend simply because you don't like one of the acts is pretty petulant to be honest, just go and watch a different stage. There are plenty of the usual slam dunk attendees who would be into him, as well as attracting new festivalgoers too.
