Italicised the ones I've seen before. It actually looks like a decent lineup, despite seeing most of the bands I want to before.

Not that I will be going this year but

Bands on the line up which I know and would watch - QOTSA, Arctic Monkeys,Vampire Weekend, Hives, Cage the elephant

Bands on the line up which I know and would avoid - Jimmy eat world, Bombay Bicycle club, you me at six, enter shikari, courteeners.

I dont know enough about the rest of the lineup to comment one way or the other. I dont listen to the radio anymore so while I know Paramore and Jake Bugg are big names I dont (probably luckily from the reviews of people I trust)know their music. I haven't even heard of Imagine Dragons or Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, which would have been unthinkable when I started going in 2001.

Must See: QotSA, Drenge, Arctic Monkeys, Blink-182 (they were genuinely brilliant on their tour, otherwise wouldn't be arsed)

Interested in: Vampire Weekend, JEW, Imagine Dragons, FTP, The Hives, Chvrches, Cage the Elephant, M&RL, Royal Blood, Klaxons

Would actually be keen on going but all my must see's I've seen at least 2/3 times already. And the rest aren't interesting enough to fork out the cash as it stands. Also gutted that Queens aren't just headlining at both sites, otherwise I'd be tempted for the day.

    • It’s rare that I watch question time, but I almost felt sorry for Kenyon, he seemed like a guy just brought off the street which effectively is what he was, made worse by the fact Burnham and the Tory guy were very strong debaters. I think Burnham was very aware not to go too hard on Kenyon and risk him getting sympathy, in fact he pretty much ignored him.
    • Shambles. Transport and comms garbage. Been looking forward to this since last June and have never been to a more disorganised festival in 30+ years.  Why we were told the whole festival was cancelled for the night if they had put back shows for a few hours?  Pissed off to say the very least and put a huge downer on the rest of the weekend.
    • Rotten communication. Actually god awful. Posting sporadically on IG, closing Mordor only to reopen and cause some serious carnage. Left the festival as it got too much for my 16year old daughter. She was devastated about Alex G and Mac…but TV girl could have saved it. Took us until 1220 and already home to find out they might/are playing. Pish.    and on another note, this festival has lost its bastard soul. Gone are the wee tents with local sellers selling vinyl, t shirts etc, now you can buy a 50 f**king eur official T-shirt. The ar*e is truely out of this event now. I went to Porto for the first time last year and it was fab. I love Barcelona and the line up is always stacked, but this festival is a corporate loss take. Hopefully a better day tomorrow.
    • f**king horrendous and seems they couldn’t run an egg and spoon race.  zero info and the crush waiting to get in to see Massive Attack was potentially disasterous. Zero info, no stewards at all and was told that the whole evening was cancelled, when we got to the exit. Because it rained. First time attendee and i’ve got onsay, i’m far from impressed. Scalping bastard taxis asking €37 plus for an €11 fare too. Wonderdul.
    • Rumours are it's called The Lost Tour. In the US in September. Ireland in November (so UK+Europe a good bet around November/early December).
