Avalon_Fields
So many good suggestions for West Holts. Not headliners but on the back of some super new music: Tamikrest Tinariwen - cd coming Suzanne Vega - cd coming Fat Freddy's Drop - latest cd ace Cigdem Aslan - Turkish singer from London Linda Thompson Phosphorescent

CaledonianGonzo
Tamikrest played this year as well.
Zoo Music Girl
Two bands I've just fallen in love with who I think would be a good fit somewhere on the West Holts bill: Melt Yourself Down Moishe's Bagel Edited November 26, 2013 by RebeccaD
CaledonianGonzo
Definitely agree about Melt Yourself Down. Perfect for the stage in a way that I don't think most Americana choices really are. Moishe's Bagel are local and play round and about here fairly frequently, but for some reason or other I've never seen them. I keep meaning to.... Zoo Music Girl
Only just hearing Melt Yourself Down's album (or is it an EP?) today, having loved the singles. It's fantastic. They were at Festival No 6 I think - anyone see them? They sound like they would be good live. I saw Moishe's Bagel in London last month (we went on a whim after hearing them on Cerys's 6music show that morning). Mostly instrumental and just great musicians. Osama Jim Laden
Tamikrest played this year as well. Missing this year is making me sadder by the minute
Boris
Ermmm .... they're from 2012. (was at one of them - was superb ). But LKJ - or even just Dennis' Dub Band - would be superb. Arses. I've not seen him for a long long time. Guess I'll keep waiting.. Dub Band indeed would be grand.
ancient_one
Tamikrest played this year as well. Did they? I have just checked the programme and can see Terakaft, but not Tamikrest. I have been listening to both a lot recently and love 'em. Terakaft are the first 2013 example of a band I have got into just after not seeing them at Glastonbury.... CaledonianGonzo
Oh aye. Sorry, I knew it was one or t'other. My mistake.
Gnomicide
Are Civil Wars touring? Probably better suited to the Acoustic Stage but would draw a sizeable crowd. Or maybe The Decemberists for a bit of alt country. I enjoyed Mariachi El Bronx in 20101, they'd be a welcome return
Brave Sir Robin
Are Civil Wars touring? Probably better suited to the Acoustic Stage but would draw a sizeable crowd. Thought they'd split up? Appropriately, given the name.
Gnomicide
Thought they'd split up? Appropriately, given the name. They did but then got back together again. They may have split up again since though as they don't get on.
5co77ie
I see Shakatak are playing Glastonbury weekend, cool or cheesy?
Flip-Box
The Freestylers are posting major hints on their Facebook page about playing Glastonbury 2014 - one for the line-up/rumours page..... Anyway.....With their full band they are really good - have played the Other Stage before and various areas DJing, reckon they'd be one of the headliners/sub-headliners on West Holts.....???? Hope so
The Nal
Tori Amos is touring in Europe in May/June. Last date so far is Kiev on June 17th. Do it!

Brave Sir Robin
I see Hayseed Dixie are in the UK, they'd be fun. Ha ha yes, they were a great opener on the Pyramid one day a few years back
Ruwise
Just been to see Basement Jaxx tonight and I know they've headlined the pyramid but I think they would be a great West Holts headliner. A real carnival, fun atmosphere.
grumpyhack
I see Hayseed Dixie are in the UK, they'd be fun. If anyone hasn't seen Hayseed Dixie they really are worth catching.
