Wonder what prompted the SR status. Were they down as rumour in the first place or is it "brand new information" I really hope they play and am clutching at any kind of festival straw

Pretty sure they were down as a rumour.. SR is brilliant news if it actually happens!! Not sure where its stemmed from though not complaining

Yep.

There was a strong chance of them playing last year - there was (so we heard) talk between Glasto and the band - but for whatever reasons it didn't happen.

The same "didn't happen" might happen again this year for all we know, but from what we're hearing it's looking a good possibility.

They did that a few years back. Think they've moved on since then. I'm not a big fan of the John Peel - too old for the front and too short for the back.

Pixies aren't before AF, that much i've managed to find out.
