Darkside have just announced that they're splitting meaning that Bestival will be one of their last shows. bummed that i'm gonna be missing that!

Oh, not to rub it in but that will make it all the more special, they were already pretty high up on my list of acts to see at Bestival.

Gutted they're calling time on the project for a bit though.

When do the day splits and set times get released?

Usually 2 or 3 days beforehand. They always say set times will only be available once the festival's started, but there's a phone app coming as per usual, and it tends to get updated with the times on the Monday or Tuesday, plus lots of the smaller stages had their running times published on the website at around the same time last year.

Day splits as I've found them so far are at http://forum.bestival.net/showthread.php?603-Day-Stage-Splits

Possibly... I reckon Caribou and Temples will clash with Disclosure and OutKast, but it's anyone's guess which way round. The 2 Bears are on at midnight (ie after OutKast), then La Roux after them (until 3am), presumably with a DJ set in between.

According to this website... http://www.setlist.fm/setlists/outkast-bd6cd72.html, Outkasts sets have been pretty similar across their tour. Based on this you could potentially choose either the first or second half with the most songs you want to see (1st for me if I had to choose), and then see half of caribou as well. Although its obviously not guaranteed that will be the exact playlist

When The 2 Bears were announced, Rob da Bank said they were playing at midnight. Assuming La Roux is Friday night's Big Top headliner, she won't be on at the same time as OutKast, therefore she must be on after the Bears.

Day by day we're being drip fed the splits, starting with Thursday's schedule tomorrow. Taking laid back to a whole new level and leaving me stressing like fuck about the Caribou/Outkast situation! Bloody RDB.
