Ffs the only reason The Strokes co-headlined in 2011 was because they found out about Pulp being around after the headliners were booked.

If not, they'd have headlined outright.

Maybe in a few years if Royal Blood continue to bring out big selling albums and tours, which puts them at headline status

You say 'now' as if them playing T was after R+L.

They headlined IOW successfully in 2010 and I wasn't here then but I'd be surprised if people expected them lower than headline in 2011.

T in the Park bookings don't mean shit. They subbed there two years after headlining there in 2006. Besides, they were 2nd stage headliners but requested to play before SHM because with who was on at the same time as either act it made sense. There were some saying that Blink wouldn't headline again after being booked to sub T anyway.

Looking back, it may have been. Consider it a response to those who actually argue that then.

If people are talking of The Libertines headlining in 2015 then The Strokes sure can too. I reckon it'll be IOW though because R+L is three months after the only scheduled date.
