Lineup 2015

But as it won't be, it doesn't! I'm not expecting much more from that main stage that's decent. They have 100% decided that the day ticket isn't far off the price for Metallica anyway and that Royal Blood exclusive is good enough to bollocks the rest up!

Why won't it be?

Nice to see them back but ridiculous they are getting that fourth from top slot... I assume it's so called reunion hype but they weren't really gone that long. Been waiting about as long for a Brand New album. Hopefully they are better than they have been on main previously as the Lockup set last time was great but the two times I saw them on main weren't the best.

Am I missing something? Where does it say 4th? I've always assumed 2 acts would be slotted above ptv, has it been confirmed They're 4th or are people just assuming they are?

+1. Like I said, I still expect Gaslight to be between Royal Blood and Alexisonfire.

Because for once I'm inclined to agree with Yellow. Why would they announce an exclusive on their own and then push them down?

The reason they're been announced exclusively on their own is blatantly because they wanted to announce their comeback tonight and R&L didn't want to do a full announcement tonight...?

I'm not saying they won't be 4th, I just don't really get how you've gone from saying they'll be 7th down to saying there won't be anyone added above them in 4th for no reason.

    • Same’s happened at MSG recently with Rush and Phish alternating nights. I guess each band has its own unique production so their riggers will be kept busy
    • The rumour was uk arena tour late this year.  Same as Charli xcx cant be announced until Reading headline is done.
    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
