New Slipknot video and song, quite like the song actually. Video is pretty fucked up, shows off the new masks and members. Their new bassist is Architects old guitar tech.

I love both the video and the song. I also read that the new bassist is the guy who used to play guitar for Krokodil and tech for Architects and Mastodon. I'm convinced that the drummer is Roy Mayorga from Stone Sour, although everywhere online is saying that it's the son of Bruce Springsteen's drummer.

really wasn't a fan of that new Slipknot song to begin with but it's grown on me hugely. once you get over the fact that Corey is incorporating a lot more singing / the gap between Stone Sour and Slipknot is growing smaller it's not too bad at all. love the video as well. bit weird that they haven't given the two new members their own personalised masks, and Corey's new mask is a bit... shit, but ah well. fingers crossed the album is better than All Hope Is Gone, which i listened to not long ago and is even worse than i remember. Snuff *shudder*

lharris92 is now my favourite person for getting me into the Holy Shits show last night

I am now to become InMe's second biggest fan in his honour

Whaaat!? Damn it I did wonder if this forum could help with those tix....likewise if anyone has any relentless live spares, I would love you and pay you!?

i'm sure Dave has said Aurora is one of his favourites, as well as being a massive fan favourite, so would be great to see it played more regularly live. No Way Back is great as well (probably my favourite from In Your Honour). i guess they've just reached that point in their career where they've got so many big singles / live staples that certain songs just don't make the cut

Yeah true, maybe it's just cause I've seen them so many times that I want variety and they still have to cater a greatest hits at every show for new fans, but I definitely think they can rid of playing the odd single now. I personally would be happy to get rid off times like these, the pretender (doesn't do it for me live) and definitely walk

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
