Got tickets for Blackpool this morning, can't wait; its not often you get something a bit different when watching big bands. So much better than the usual arenas...

I have a feeling it might only have been the Blackpool gig that is fancy dress/formal wear but may stand corrected on this.

It was an email from Live Nation publicising the gig. Be the same as the Blackpool posters I'd say - nowt special. But it does say fancy/formal dress.

Off topic but mentioned earlier - The National on Jools now. My God I can't wait to see these.

That's exactly what I said when I first heard it. I need to see this happen now.

I like how the only 3 older songs they've been playing are the tracks I always look forward to most at their gigs: Sprawl II, Haiti, and Power Out. Seeing Haiti live changed my opinion on the song completely - brilliance.

Oh and they are by far and away the best headliner choice for next year - it needs to happen!
