You are obsessed, my friend. But as with all Pearl Jam threads that come and go on here, I 100% support the motion.

Get Pearl Jam at glasto. Incredible live band. Reading 2006 is right up there with my all time favourite gigs

Pearl Jam are so good live. Seen them quite a few times. Love their new track. Would love to see them at Glastonbury. Mr Eavis, make it so...!

Big Day Out have a very nice set of headliners, Pearl Jam - Arcade Fire - Blur.

Too bad Glasto already got their set of headliners lined up, if they tour Europe this year I wonder how many years it will take till they're back again, probably 3+ considering they toured northen europe last year and italy/spain/portugal next.

It just sucks that they aren't being discussed more, they derserve the recognition a glasto headline slot gives. many posters here say that they eventually will do it, but why wait while they decline.. Ed voice surely isn't as good as it was a few years ago.

Just Breathe, Even Flow, Black, Yellow Ledbetter, Jeremy and Alive on the Pyramid would be great :) Just Breathe is my current favourite of theirs the cover that Willy Nelson did a couple of years ago is quite good too! Anyway i would love to see this as far as i'm aware they haven't even played in Scotland since around 2000 so if anything Glastonbury looks like a good bet for me ;)

Is it just me who could see them as more likely on the Other stage? I'm not really a fan, true, but I'm not sure how many people would know a lot of their songs. I was surprised to hear they were still going actually or did they reform? Personally I don't see their appeal as being much wider than the Pumpkins.

I bought the first two Pearl Jam albums and then just faded away from them. Well, I faded away from music in general for a few years - family came along, no money etc. so no gigs - less music bought. This was long before the days of computers when you could only listen to the radio or go out and actually buy CD's. I don't suppose youngsters today now how lucky they are to be able to turn on their computer and listen to anything by any artist in the world - for free!

Anyway, back to the point. I think I saw the Pearl Jam documentary on TV and realised there was a lot more to them than I had given them credit for, so I went a bought the double 'Greatest Hits' CD. Wow! What a revelation. Some of the slow tracks are sensational, especially Off He Goes and Yellow Ledbetter.

Bought Backspacer (again, Just Breathe became an instant entry into my top 100 tracks) and saw them at Isle of Wight festival. Is there a better voice in rock than Eddie Vedder's?

Nowadays we are a little more affluent and our festival and gig attendance has now become a family affair with our two adult daughters often accompanying us. We are all hoping that Pearl Jam will tour next year to promote the new album and we will definitely be there if they do. Glastonbury would be the icing on the cake.

no worries old son ..i try and keep you all happy lol.

no PJ have never split up and as i said i reckon they wouldn't mind playing the other stage as there not up there own asses BUT it wouldn't be big enough.they are selling out and HAVE sold out every gig they have done hence they are one of the biggest bands in the world and ONE of the best live bands ever .

the thing is like U2 and the stones i fearwe may have a wait on our hands lol
