and going by Neils hunch, most people would not be chuffed with gaga or perry and GD, AM and Biffy wont really be described as pop crap so I reckon its JT and im ruling out KOL just because I dont think it will be them

Kings of Leon would be one of the main guessed ones so I'm ruling them out because of that, but they'd fit the rest of the description perfectly. I'm trying to think of other acts that could fit that.
