I think most people can see it's changing. Pulis is a manager who encourages dirty, defensive, long-ball anti-football, Hughes is left with some of his players, but he's brought in some good

ones of his own (I rate Arnautovic)

I think it was Pulis' tactics (that you alluded to) more than any of the individual players. I do find it strange that people seem to be behind palace so much though now Pulis is there. Arnautovic just needs to keep his head and make sure he has the right attitude and he can be top class. However, I can't really see that happening and if he does mature as a person and improve on that side of his game I fear that he will be taken by one if the big clubs.

Im not sure, I think they were difficult decisions ones which could have gone either way. Even the Madrid penalty, in a game without video replays you can see why it was given.

Athletico V Barca on the final day could be a huge game, I think Real Madrid are still favorites.

To me theres a distinction between a bad refereeing and an incorrect referreeing decision. We cant expect referees to be judged on video replays that they dont have access to. To me the Real Madrid penalty yesterday was a perfectly acceptable decision taking into consideration the information the referee had to make the decision. Even the other 2 in the box were causing enough debate, to justify the referee making the decision.

I suppose it depends what people want from football. We can improve the decisions by stopping the game after every incident, but will this improve the game? My view is the way it is now works fine, however we have to accept that some decision we have to accept are impossible to always get right with the naked eye.

Arsenal falling away yet again.

I refer you to the three most recent previous seasons.

Utd have had weaker end of season runs than Arsenal for years, just to show how off-the-facts your dig at Arsenal is.

I really think they just need a big bruiser of a midfielder. A Viera basically. A captain. A leader.

that won't sort than out better than a skills increase would do.

All that matters for beating the opposition is having a greater skill-set than the opposition. That doesn't have to come via muscle as the likes of Barca gets to show.

All muscle gets to mean at the end of the day is that one team is better at kicking the other team. That doesn't mean you win. If it did then the likes of Stoke and WHU would be winning the league.

a workman like result against West Ham.

a lucky result you mean, with two lucky lucky goals!!!

Having said that, it was the best i've seen Utd play for a while. It was almost a performance that was satisfactory for a team in 7th place, but actually that would be doing WHU a disservice.
