Lets face it. People in general had no idea who he was before he came out with that shite.

o feck orf, eh?

Not all of us are football know-nothings, not all of think footie started in 1992, some us know good strikers where-ever they played, and particularly those who were banging them in at the top of the league.

And some of us had a same-named player (and his brother) playing for our local club at the same time, too.

Whether he's good at his job or not, he seen an opportunity to join a bandwagon and took it with both hands. I couldn't give a f**k about what someone like that says.

You prefer the back page of The Scum?

I struggle to care what you say about it either actually. It worried me when you said you were in your 40s. You certainly don't act like it when it comes to Man United.

Some of us will never be wearing a cardie, but as that must be you do enjoy your knitwear.

Kevin Sheedy possesses possibly the greatest left foot ever to grace the English game. He played over 300 times for Everton and scored against England in the 1990 World Cup.

I think what you mean is young people in general had no idea who he was.

Just football-ignorant people actually.

Yes I jumped as high as I've ever jumped when that went in. Sheedy knows his stuff. But everyone is queuing up now to get their word in. Lee Sharpe's turn today.

you do know that it's coming from these ex-players at the request of current Utd players, don't you?

Is this just a conspiracy or is there any actually facts behind this? I'd be shocked if there was an organised league wide mutiny on the go.

have you never noticed it happen in this way before?

Crap manager seems unsackable, while there's loads of rumours that he's lost the team.

The team can't bring him down in public, so who they gonna call? Ghostbusters?

Whats fascinating about "They're very similar but Martinez is more tactical".

Anyone could've told you that.

I get the feeling that if a Tesco check out girl called the papers and said that Moyesie packed the eggs in the bag before the tins of beans there'd public ridicule.

Just saw this. Fucks sake!

Ken Doherty told RTÉ: “I was playing Mark Williams in the 2003 World final and Dennis Taylor came into the dressing room to me and he said, ‘Alex Ferguson has been on the phone’.

"He said to Dennis, ‘Tell Ken, he’s breaking off badly. Tell him to break off on the left because he keeps leaving Mark Williams a long red into the right pocket.’

“He must know everything about sport, must be a nightmare to work with”

Yeah it's amazing how many thought moyes was the right man now keeping quiet.

Me included.

TBH, I still think he could have been, if luck had run his way from the off. Confidence breeds confidence, and all that.

But I don't think he can turn it around now. He might improve them from where they are but he sure as hell ain't gonna be fergie mk 2 even if he got a thousand years.

People said the same about Fergie and Busby. Even after 4 years. Don't get me wrong I'm far, far from confident but hes getting the time to try so may as well go along with it.

the Glazers can't afford for him to fail for years, unless they've chosen to manage a steady decline of the club while keeping it profitable.

If he HAS lost the dressing room, he's done for, and soon.

yup, goes without saying that one.

Personally, I think he's more lost himself. It came thru that time when he basically admitted that the crowd was picking the team when he didn't sub RVP, and i'm guessing that Giggs getting a run-out yesterday was the media sort-of picking the team, because Moyes was wanting to try to show there is no problem between him & Giggs (there were rumours of a big bust up after the liverpool defeat).
