19 Million for Cabaye, for the club who got 35 millon for Andy Carroll I cant help but think you could have got a bit more. When you look at what Fellani, Fernandinhio, Matic etc have been sold for in recent years and the fact PSG often overpay, I thought there was an extra few million to be had.

I can see Man City starting to pull away now. The squad depth combined with the fact their away results (actual away form was never that bad) makes it difficult for me to see them dropping many points. Im glad to see Chelsea dropping points, hopefully the 2 Merseyside teams can both reel them in and send them to the Europa league, wishful thinking on my part!

Perhaps I'm just used to the crap at united, everyone looks awesome in comparison..

City are awesome, I'm not trying to say otherwise. But I still think they were less fluid and sharp with their play last night compared to most other games - and Spurs would have shipped a few more goals than they did had the likes of Dzeko been more at his best.

Big Sam on Moaniho's comments...

"He can't take it, can he?" he said. "He can't take it because we've out-tactic-ed him, out-witted him. He just can't cope. He can tell me all he wants. I don't give a shite, to be honest. I love to see Chelsea players moaning at the referee, trying to intimidate the officials, and José jumping up and down in his technical area. It's great to see."

PMSL

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
