I think your allowed a little dig now and again... Tis true what you say tho, in the past bad fests there has been steady bad weather up until and we have not had that.

I trust that glasto will miss the worst the next few days and then its all to play for, to early for 10 day predictions

If you look on BBC and Netweather the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday is looking good! Still way too early to tell though. The way the weather has been recently you won't know what it will do until the day and even then it is likely to be 'changeable'!

Morning dog walk weather report from Pilton. It did rain as Ommadawn said but it was 5 minutes only. It is currently grey but brightening, light breeze and drying rapidly. The ground is still hard and I don't see that changing without a lot of rain. As pointed out, there is a high clay content on the farm which means sticky mud that drys rapidly with a bit of wind or heat.

Last time I was on site there was a lot of compacted hardcore laid on the major tracks and I know more has been going down since judging by the wagons going into Worthy. A lot of it is for the backstage areas to keep them functioning but they had laid through the market areas towards the stone circle a few weeks ago. Even with a lot of foot traffic these tracks should stay in one piece.

I wouldn't expect 2007 conditions.

Sundays 12:20 ish - but the weather is on later in the programme. My advice, either record it and zap through to the weather or wait for it to be on iplayer and zap through. OR wait until the forecast has been talked about on this forum! BBC is not always the most reliable forecast.

    • Thing is, I'd have said that as well.   But then she inexplicably ended up on the Wilderness lineup and that changes everything. I reckon if that goes well, which it will, then she's very much in the picture.
    • This has probably been discussed a hundred times already on efests but what constitutes a legend? I know some of it is my age but I don't see eurithmics or Duran Duran as legend status. Neil young or nils lofgren then yes and neither of them have overly troubled the charts. Duran Duran and indeed the eurithmics I would put in the 80s category and whilst it would be ok (human league at isle of wight we're fabulous) they just arent in my mind legend status.  Zombies played same festival- i would take that.
    • friendly tonight delayed , pitch draining pretty quick to be fair .... not sure it bodes well for other games with potential fixture backlog
    • Never happen, but an Annie Lennox solo or Eurythmics reunion would make me very happy.
    • Burnham going to go blue labour to ensure he wins makerfield and gets enough nominations from the PLP. How he’d govern is anyone’s guess. Odds on to win anyway so guess we’re not too far away from finding out.
