BBC and Accuweather both look OK. M*tCh*ck has some rain on Saturday. At the moment the site looks good. Not rained for a while so ground not saturated. Going to rain later this week and then perhaps at the weekend. 3 of the forecasets I've looked at look "OK". Jackone will be updating later I expect, he is the law round these parts.

Now I'm far from an expert but the guys over on netweather model discussion forum seem to discussing positive trend for next week following the latest outputs. Someone even posted 'dry and warm glastonbury'. Keep everything crossed.

PS at this point before every festival I seem to get so obsessed with the weather that I almost forget I'm going to Glastonbury. NEXT WEEEEEK !!!!!!!

currently looking at a dry start to the festival (tues - thurs/fri) possibly a shower on wednesday but no need for wellies imo.

as we get to saturday and sunday the high pressure which would have been sitting over us may break down which could bring some wetter weather.

that's my current interpretation so not sure where all these negative posters have come from ;)

Been looking at the latest runs today at work, looks like its gonna be ok for at least the first few days. There is quite a bit heading in from the Atlantic next weekend but the precipitation charts we were looking at showed it dissipating before it hits the main land. Most importantly high pressure looks to be in control. By no meens a scorcher but looks much better than 2011.

I'm not great with facebook etc.....What does anyone reckon about given Jackone some kind of thankyou/ recognition by setting up a campaign to buy a ticket for him to go to Glastonbury next year?

Or even better, suggesting to Eavis' that he could be the official Glastonbury Weather guide person...? Bit like what happened to Clashfinder? anyone have a connection?

If people keen shall I start a new thread...?
