Ye, i know. Just thought i'd post it as he did put Glastonbury in the title.

Still way too early to tell, i seem to remember in 2010 it was up in the air unitl a few days before the festival when it all just fell into place and was a scorcher. Having said that i still can't help but get hopelessly addicted to this thread with 20 days to go!

Me too. Had a hundred things to do last night but ended up looking for day by day weather stats for previous years - nearest I could get was Bristol, which is pretty damn similar (I live there). All I can say is thank F**k we don't have last year's June already!

Actually, even going back to 2011, I think we've had a much better lead in so far, in terms of r**n. Ground must be a lot drier than this time two years ago, and better able to suck it up when it comes.

So, aside from the fact we need the ambient temp to keep rising, I would say things look pretty positive from this far out. Certainly more 2009/10ish.

I shall carry on buying waterproof gear of course :)

Latest Met Office Update:

UK Outlook for Friday 21 Jun 2013 to Friday 5 Jul 2013:

There are currently indications that conditions may be rather changeable through the rest of June and into early July, although some southern areas may become a little less unsettled. Temperatures are likely to be near, or a little below average for the time of year. This is partly as a result of having unseasonably cool sea surface temperatures for the time of year surrounding the United Kingdom.

The weather rules are simple, it's a bit like black jack. If you see the weather forecast you like then you can choose to 'stick' and if not then simply 'twist' until you get the one you like.

...oh also if anyone has any friends of family with a birthday coming up then get them to use their Birthday wish for good Glasto weather. Birthday wishes are essentially the strongest kind of guarantee you can get.

Basically it looks like there will be some unsettled weather around, but it keeps predicting the Azores High will build and nudge it further north - still too far for anything to be certain though

Unsettled only means that though, not awful mudbath just not great.

Me personally am hoping for some shite weather between now and then as we never, never have this much good weather uninterrupted. So lets have a bit of rain between now and then and then back to sun in time for Glasto.
