I'm in the 'worried the weather is peaking too early' camp as well. Two weeks time, this weather would be perfect.

Jackone's forecasts for 2013 have always said words to the effect of 'June great, July crap'. I'm just worried we'll get the start of July's weather.

I've been thinking the same about it peaking - looks like this weekend will be perfect Gbury weather. So my new thinking is that it's going to rain a bit (not much) after this nice weather and then peak again in time for Gbury. No reason why not. Been checking forecasts and they still dont know about the end of the month so positive thoughts all the way.when does the next Jackone forecast come out?

bbc weather has sun all this week, but rain all next week... hopefully the rain does its thing and clears off just before and during the festival.

It's ridiculously unlikely to stay sunny and dry from last weekend all the way til the end of the June. It needs to rain at some point and that might as well happen next week, then we can get back to sunny in time.

GFS maps already go up to the Friday before the festival, and so far look pretty encouraging.

I'll be keeping an eye on what that green splodge does over the next few days.

Honestly, my limits for weather map technicalities stop at little cloud pictures with suns.....

The met office report for 16-30 remains the same. Not commiting to anything, and just farting around the subject. Seems like the waiting game is for me!

All we know is there's going to be a breakdown, which isn't the end of the world, depending on the timing. I'm sure this happens every frigging year though!
