if we're going by acts who sell out arenas, then Olly Murs must be in with a shout. he sells out arenas (apprently, i was surprised when i read it in the paper) and he's every bit as risible as the Vaccines or Example.

they either are or have yes. Not quickly and not sure about seating. But thats one arena gig. example has one arena tour before this one while also playing fairly decent slots at fests the last few years.

Subbing i admit would be a tad far but some people are putting him like 6th pyramid, he'll be 3rd lowest i would think.

i suppose they could've slipped down to fourth. i'd like them at third but there's no denying that their popularity / time in the spotlight has lowered since last time

also, IF Mumfords are in fact under the Stones i guess it wouldn't be ridiculous to think that whoever's under them would be a bigger-than-usual third act and so forth down the lineup that day, but maybe that's me being optimistic / thinking into it to much

tbh i hope a lot of these acts that are being predicted are wrong. whilst the likes of Plan B, Example, Chase & Status, The Vaccines are all crowd pleasers, seeing them all one after the other on the lineup will look / be just awful

personal opinion of course and i'm fully aware that the top of the Pyramid is usually jam packed with that type of act so it probably will happen. just hope there are a few nice surprises in there as well (i'm sure there will be)

they had plan b into pendulum, its not that much different. Though i do see what you're saying, i can't think of another act dance wise which is the general theme for the Sunday sub spot act, other than Chase. And below dizzee is much less likely.

It's already been confirmed by Emily Eavis that the line up will be out before the resale my friend.

There is reason to believe it will be this week.

I think there might be a mis-match between what Glasto would like to do with an announcement and what the stone (if playing) will let them do.

What i mean is, while I reckon that Glasto might want to announce this week, if the stones (if playing) aren't ready then Glasto won't be able to.

That makes sense, and explains the lack of headliner news this time around, but surely the Stones can't leave it much longer to announce a May tour anyway?

you're probably right, tho the latest newspaper reports have said it will be "early April" - which would probably mean no announcement this week if Glasto has the stones.
