I've listened to the new album several times. More briliant each time I listen to it. I would definitely put it in his top 10, close to top 5. Just astonishing stuff.

What I love is the way he released the singles. "Where are we now?" is nothing like the rest of the album. He kept the mystery hanging on a bit longer.

Didn't realise he played 5 from station to station at glasto. Such a great set. It will always be the single biggest regret of my gig going life, because I almost went to my first glasto that year. Parents made me stay behind because of exams on the Monday. Douche bags

Interview on Irish radio this morning with Bowie's guitarist Gerry Leonard (whos Irish) saying he doesn't really think he'll tour. He said when they were in the studio the odd time Bowie said "that would sound great live" but apart from that he didn't seem to show any interest.

Nothing is impossible where this man is concerned... I can easily see a few one-off type shows - like Glasto for example (!).

But as for a fully fledged tour of 30 dates plus? Nah. Aint logical.

I just don't see the man risking his health at this stage - irrespective of how well he currently looks and sounds.

From what seemed the impossibly dream, is now the faintest of possibilities. Can you imagine Bowie bowling out onto the Pyramid stage in June to complete the greatest Rock'n'roll comeback of all time. I go weak at the knees thinking about it.

But then again, it is never going to happen, and I'm ok with that

STOP TALKING ABOUT BOWIE HEADLINING GODDAMN YOU ALL!

I will buy the hype and become giddy with excitement and then bitterly disappointed on announcement day. Just let me enjoy the Stones announcement and save the Bowie hype for 2014.

BOWIE FOR GLASTONBURY 2014!

***Dream scenario - I realise it's never going to happen

They keep the Sunday headliner as TBC until the day

Bowie struts out................wouldn't that be oh so typical Bowie

***Wakes back up and eats cornflakes

Have you ever seen the UK Subs?

The man is a legend and looks less ridiculous than McCartney who strikes me as a cross between Una Stubbs and Ken Dodd.

He looks awful and ridiculous. That's how I imagine Billie Armstrong from Greenday and Blink 182 to look in 20 years time.
