Different perceptions,I'm not looking for an arguement or trolling, just saying what I thought.

Other threads have popped up and I understand why,we all want to discuss and debate it but I personally found this thread and its original post condescending.

putting Money on Mumford headling (as you all probably know by now), i think if they don't i will be truly fucked on this forum for the rest of my life.

also where/when did Melvin say he wouldn't want to book Metallica?

just for fun i'm not so uncertain that RHCP should be completely wiped out- Melvin may of had a change of heart with the new line up- played a few one off dates last year (Rock werchter), with the response they got from they're last UK tour they'd bring in a shit load of peeps= a happy Melvin. however i agree its still not likely

Only acts i can think of that are long shots (as in would not put money on, but hey why not mention them) are:

Linkin park, - haven't announced anything over here but its still early days (really hope they don't play unless its a Meteora 10year special, and even then i would probably boycot them for becoming a really shit band- rant over)

Eminem - new album coming out 2013

Kiss. playing a few shows in europe, i think it would be a bad move on beans part but wouldn't rule it out completly

AC/DC, new album is ment to be coming out...

The black Keys, with the massive demand for them would Melvin risk it for a biscuit to put them as headliners even though they played last year?

Radiohead. as its not a proper rumors page without some fucker suggesting Radiohead will headline

DL50 completly agree really really hope LP disapear and realize how shit they have become,

Anyway just thought of a band...

Firstly, i'm gonna start off by saying, I don't think this is likley, i'm not putting my leg out but how about Blink-182?

Massive Sold out tour last year and were certainly the big crowd puller of 2010, i appreciate they had just reformed but i recon there is a demand for them, and i do believe there is a new album out next year, with no other Uk festi date booked surly there mast be a chance? (unless V or sonisphere grabbed them)

I bet your thinking 'AH but they only headlined 3 years ago!' and i think this is the issue that shoots down this rumor BUT, a headliner has headlined with a gap of 3 years before: Foo fighter 2002- 2005

Like i said, Just a though

Saw them on the tour this year and they were vastly better live, they were actually very good. Dont think they'll be around though with travis difficulty in travelling and theyve only just done their tour this year, they'll have other places to tour first.
