CaledonianGonzo
still, comfortably going to sell out in half hour I'd imagine. just to ask are you going to Glasto bud? Presales are often a way of shifting crummy seats / sections to people who think that the good seats have already gone...... I'll be at Glasto, aye. mail1234
Hyde park must be one of the worst places to watch a gig these days. Not heard a good word about it for years now. Who are all these people willing to pay hundreds of pounds to see the Stones there? Can't blame the band if people are stupid enough to do it I guess! thewayiam
£370? I thought the highest price was £330? I thought I saw £370 level 1 with a backstage bar.
Matt42
Sorry to move off subject. In that video Charlie Watts is up to his usual, moany self. I love it but it makes me think! I reckon he wanted to die years ago but his manager wouldn't let him
the wonderwhy
I thought I saw £370 level 1 with a backstage bar. Fair enough I haven't checked but The Mirror were reporting tickets up to £330 this morning. They get everything else right so assumed that would be correct too
Ed209
This arguement is ridiculous. You cannot moan about something you cannot afford! Thats life and its tough titteh im afraid! Id like a flash motor on my drive but im not going to go on a bmw forum saying 40k is a lot of money, despite what you get for the 40k! I was just stating a fact. £200 is a lot of money for a lot of people. Fact. A lot of people have to think carefully before they part with that amount of money ... me included. Wooderson
The critical info that most seem to have overlooked is that this means that Mick Taylor is bolted on for Glastonbury. *keels over* Ive overlooked this. Enlighten me on how youre sure mate.
fraser_k
Ive overlooked this. Enlighten me on how youre sure mate. I would imagine he would at least come out for Midnight Rambler.
CaledonianGonzo
Ive overlooked this. Enlighten me on how youre sure mate. He's confirmed to be guesting on all of the US dates. Figures that he'll still be with the entourage when it gets back to the UK.
Wooderson
I was behind the sounddesk for Blur. My advice is pack in the booze lads cuz you can't see/hear shite.
mike99
There is going to be a second date added presuming tickets sell out fast.
Matt42
Also thinking about it, say 60 acts of worth play glastonbury (AKA 60 acts that you'd pay tickets to go and see, like concerts) 205 is the price of a ticket. 205/60 = 3.41666 Per act. So lets round that up. You are paying £3.40 to specifically see the stones at glastonbury.

I see it like this. it's costing me £220 to go Glasto, ticket plus parking + a program. Say I want to see 5/6 acts a day, adding up to we'll say 16 acts over a weekend = £13 pretty much an act. The 1st act I will see, going by a Friday-Sunday schedule would cost me around £18 with a booking fee, no act will cost less than £10 that I would see. Yeah I guess I just wanted to make a quirky comment about how the Glastonbury goers have it so so so much better than anyone at hyde park value wise! thewayiam
Yeah I guess I just wanted to make a quirky comment about how the Glastonbury goers have it so so so much better than anyone at hyde park value wise! I have at least 3 £40 acts and at least 2 £30 acts that I would see too. Not sure wether Glasto will be a stripped down stage production but I don't care lol. I have a good £400's worth of bands I'd see on the lineup minimum.

CaledonianGonzo
Stillon the subject of Mick Taylor, that Gregory the Gorilla twitter account included him in the announcement tweets, which might mean he plays for a fair bit more than just a one-song guest spot on Midnight Rambler.
