When this thread was running a few years ago I suggested Slade. A field full of Glastobytes jumping up and down in a field singing Cum on Feel the Noize would be mint!! However, it was pointed out then by someone who knew someone who knew someone etc., that Noddy Holder would never be persuaded to perform again with Slade.

In reality, I'm thinking the Moody Blues for next year also.

I just saw him last Saturday night and he's out touring with an excellent band supporting his CD of Duke Ellington music. He did a lot of the hits ("Is she really going out with him", "Steppin out", "You can't get what you want") and the show went down really well with the crowd.

It was me. Im friends with Dave Hills nephew, he told me when I went to our first glasto in 99 that year they were offered millions for a tour , but Noddy said no as his voice is too shot and he couldnt do the songs justice anymore.
