Lady Gaga has to be within the list of all possibles I guess. She currently has dates scheduled until March.

Was that quote by Scottie Yesterday about IOW and Glasto sharing a teaser?

I booked the time off for IOW again this year....still not sure though. Roses will be great but seeing them 2 weeks before at Finsbury Park, Killers, whilst I love them, I've seen to death and Bon Jovi is a weeping septic lump. for arse-gravy. As it tends to be the headliners that have got me there previously probably going to give it a miss.

To be fair to them though, think they've done as well as they can with the headliners, look at the T in The Park ones, piss-poor. Bloody Mumford & Sons!

Kasabian were billed as UK exclusives for a few days up until they were announced for Rockness the other year. Lot's of their headliners have played other English fests like Prodigy, Bruce Springsteen, Jay Z, Pulp etc

    • Aldous Harding absolutely brilliant in Dublin last night. Quirky as ever but sounded magnificent. Played everything off the new album I think, it all sounded fantastic. Band, including H Hawkline, were understated but excellent. Another one to look forward to.
    • Orbital opening the Other stage is a bold choice!
    • Great start for them
    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident. Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor. That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
