thesecretingredientiscrime
ok...i'm getting random 'Event not found' results on refreshing but mainly the holding page. my guess is that one or more of the seetickets servers has no 700000 event loaded onto it hence the 'event not found'. as the load-balancer passes your page request to servers in turn it hits the dodgy one every now and then.....sincerely hope this gets sorted. the 'holding' page is simply the equivalent of a 'sorry page' which loads when the 700000 service is unavailable, or when it reaches a maximum session limit. i suspect they merely have it administratively 'down' at present to force the holding page to load. dingbat2
20 browser Windows open and refreshing autmatically nicely. No need to manically press the refresh button quite yet as soon as one window updates...
CitizenErased
It's my birthday and I am up at this god aweful hour on a sunday and I'm gonna have to sit here all day. But it's worth it!
parsonjack
I'd just assume the event not found page is because they've not actually activated the page yet? It's essentially a queue to go nowhere at the moment.
markeee
http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/Event/GLASTONBURY-2013-DEPOSITS/Worthy-Farm/700000 IS the proper link if anyone asks again - was tweeted by glasto feed on twitter few mins back
thesecretingredientiscrime
ah yes but most times the refresh loads the 'queue' page and only randomly fails to and loads the 'event not found' page. that would suggest that the event itself is not known about on the server that gets hit.. benm61
So chaps where are we then. Is the best bet to keep refreshing the 'queueing page' or to start again from the main site? Does this take us back to the old 'is it better to manually refresh or let it automatically do it' debate
ArcticMonkeysUK
I am currently at work on a good old NHS computer! Eeek! Please all keep your fingers crossed that this nurse doesn't have a cardiac arrest to deal with in the next few hours! My workmates are being brilliant knowing how important this is to me so they are very kindly sharing my work between them for a little while! MrsRookin
Anyone bothering to try on the phone? Previously I've just found it has hampered my ability to press F5 but with Emily's comments about the changes not sure whether its worth a try. amfy
Is anyone else now finding that everything they have bookmarked has blurred, i.e, it now says Glastonbury again and again all over the top of the page....or is that just the hangover kicking in on an epic scale?
