Holy fudge what a shocker!

Would have preferred PJ but at least I can con a few more mates to go now.

What other festivals if any do vodaphone sponsor?

I reckon that if they are involved with another big fest PJ could be at that one.

Felt like the Pearl Jam set would have felt refreshing at Download, a new face in the revolving door of headliners at the fest but nope. Pretty disappointed. This means my streak probably breaks this year at a lowly 3 Downloads. Enjoyed them all immensely however!

Fingers crossed for a great undercard! I just can't justify the money when I could see Rammstein at another european fest.

I stand by what I've said previously, unless there's new material, Slipknot are a poor booking. Nothing new released since their last appearance, so will end up being the same set.

Was hoping for Pearl Jam, not because I'm a big fan, but because its something different.

Slipknot are a step down for me but I'll still be delighted to see them. I haven't before. PJ are on my must see list and may well influence which other festival I go to this year. Any one think that Copping might have been playing with the sneaks and leakers, possibly even targeting efests? Thought you were clever leaking Maiden huh? Well have some of this wrong stuff plastered proudly all over your website! :)

Can't believe people are being so negative here. Ok Slipknot haven't had a new album in quite sometime, but their stage show and performance is fantastic. Put that alongside Maiden doing a classic(and different set) and the masters of a live show Rammstein.....it'll be amazing. My only problem may be is if they put Tool headlining the second stage. Would be a disaster!!

    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
    • Absolutely buzzing if it is Blink    Still can't be 100% sure with Download though
