Frankly Mr Shankly
David Byrne, Depeche Mode, Morrissey, Beach Boys, Roger Waters or PULP are my guesses... Or perhaps Rob has done something truly amazing & finally got the Talking Heads to reunite? Or got Kate Bush to play a live date?
stylishkids
Going thru the thread then it's not; Portishead Prince Radiohead Daft Punk Beck Smashing Pumpkins Pixies Pulp Primus Florence Scissor Sisters QOTSA Mumford Suede Moby M.I.A. Iron Maiden There were a few other mentioned but I couldn't be bothered writing them all down. I still reckon The Beach Boys are a good shout. They weren't mentioned in the thread. Neither were Placebo. Apart from that I haven't got much of a clue.
Bradders
Kate Bush is my guess. I'm actually quite surprised nobody's mentioning it more, it seems very likely to me.

Frankly Mr Shankly
Probably way off the mark, but has Snoop been considered?

pothead pixie
So who is the third headliner then, maybe you should change the thread title to Third headliner still to be confirmed as it is misleading, when people go onto this thread they expect to know who the third headliner is, so who is the bloody third headliner then? Paul ™
The 3rd headliner was confirmed as stated in the 1st post by RDB. It will be announced/revealed on Wednesday... but just to confuse you more, it's the 2nd headliner
LondonTom
bloody hell I give up trying guess!! ...I am detesting the plans for touring from Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand and Pulp this year (Although I am seeing Pulp next week ) if they don't play bestival! Frankly Mr Shankly
Can't see it being Bowie, I'm not sure he'll play live again unfortunately. Nick Cave or Neil Young would be brilliant though.
smogo
No Bowie in that list! Or Pavement. Or Nick Cave. Or Neil Young.
Bradders
I don't see why Neil Young wouldn't suit Bestival? Maybe it's not 'very likely' to be Kate Bush it's just a name that we all agree on every single time I speculate with my mates. Just seems right... Not that I actually want her to play... dingbat2
I am intrgued but not that excited about the headliner announcement. I bought Bestival based on the quality of he undercard and the non-music stuff going on. I can't wait. Anything more is a bonus! Jean michel Jarre?!.... Bisque
I would love it to be Bloc Party, headlining Bestival before R&L in 2013. Would seem to fit "the one headliner most people moan about" on here.
