MGMT and Imagine Dragon's are over in europe early with Main Square Festival in France (

3rd to Sunday 6th July.) Then both are playing festivals in europe throughout July but nothing later then that :( hope both stay in europe until R&L however unlikely it is!!

Aye, hopefully they make it over - cannae see them not doing something UK based around then. With DL announcing today and not having tem suggests they aren't there, could do something like Slam Dunk I guess, or ideally a tour.

I can see them headlining Slam Dunk next year

Imagine Dragons doesn't surprise me really as they played this year. But I think they did both T In The Park and R&L this year though. Would like them to go as I saw Foals this year instead.

I an the same, i went to see Foals but tbh i think i made the wrong choice with Foals coming back this year (apparently) and I.Dragons being as good as they apparently were

Got told Brand New were headlining Slam Dunk about two months back but then more recently I've been told A Day To Remember are Headlining it.

Brand New will almost certainly play a UK show or two around May TIme though

I think I've already gone through this with you :D

Anyway but I don't regret seeing Foals as I'm a huge fan and I thought they were good and if they do go this next year I'll see someone else or them again.

Either way I'll be happy with it. Would prefer ADTR but I'm seeing them in February so I'll be fine if they don't play. I still think that Brand New will do some shows here.

Perhaps they will co-headline, a bit like what Less than Jake did with Reel Big Fish that time.

Would love to see Brand New at R&L next year too though to make up for them pulling out, was gutted.

I'm sure that I said that I'd go to see Oasis, Sigur Ros and the Manics if they were at Leeds

Nope, you definitely said you make sarcy comments to yellow whenever someone mentions Oasis.

I think you're just confused because yellow isn't around to make sarcy comments to.

Sigur Ros seemed to have finished touring for the time being, so looking unlikely - also I'm not sure how well they'd go down, and they usually demand darkness so could only headline NME

Are Gorrilaz too big to sub? I'd cream etc if they played R&L

Come to think of it, T have got a Co-headline haven't they?

I bet it's Outkast and Gorrilaz.

Unless Lucky's wrong and R&L have got them. (I think the NME tent would be a bunch of pigs flying if R&L ever made that great a booking.)

I would take you up on that bet as one of those would be unlikely, two would be insane, and neither would headline T.

I don't think Gorillaz would headline R+L but I don't think they would play at all so I don't really think about it.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
