I bet it will be worth it, especially if you're seeing at least two headliners.

For instance last year I would guess the acts I wanted to see would be like Biffy (£35), NIN (£35), SOAD (£35), Deftones (£20), Foals (£20), Frank Turner (£20), White Lies (£20), Editors (£20), etc.

That's already £205 and there were quite a lot more acts I'd have paid to see (don't wanna bore you with a full list). As you can see, that only includes one headliner, too.

And if I did it based on everything i saw, even if I wouldn't pay for their gigs in real life, it would be hugely worth it (for instance I saw Green Day, but would never go to their own gig).

Although non-headline bands don't get headline length slots like they have at their own shows

There's only like three acts that charge over £20 a ticket on Reading Friday so how can this be?

Just noticed they are moving the Relentless stage to the trees inbetween Red and Orange camp... good move after the problems last year I think

I think aside from Queens of the Stone Age the majority of acts I'd be interested in I've either seen multiple times or have/will play festivals that cost less than a quarter of the price of a Reading ticket

Misty Miller, La Dispute, Drenge, The Front Bottoms, Twin Atlantic, Temples, Warpaint, SBTRKT, Metronomy, QOTSA would be about £150 together. Add on the £60 for Arctic Monkeys and that's the weekend paid for.

Does anyone know if there is anyway of finding out how much a bands last gig/ tour cost... trying to work out if my Leeds ticket is worth it based on what im seeing but cant seem to find the prices of any bands previous gigs.

The cost of the music is only part of what makes it 'worth it'.

Oh, in addition to Lyger being announced; LTNT were added to the bottom of the FR stage which might have shuffled some clashfinders - well they have for Leeds. They seem alright as well.
