Brand New are a bit high, aren't they? NATW are possibly too low. I'm also not sure that Killers and Placebo would clash, I don't think they're all that different from each other and it would probably work better if Placebo played third main.

I can't imagine Daft Punk not headlining. If R+L only offered a sub spot they'd go to another festival who'd give them the respect they deserve.

Booked my ticket for Biffy's Sheffield date this morning. Honestly don't see them subbing. Either they will headline or they won't play next year and then headline in 2014. Just my take on it.

Alt J are getting massive, Mercury nomination (and currently the favourites to win it) and they keep touring and playing bigger and bigger venues which are selling out. IMO I reckon they are more likely to play mid main or headline NME.

agree on Alt J, they are getting the repuation as the next big thing. They were also compared to Radiohead!

I think they'll sub the NME along with another youngish indie act headlining, to go up against Sabbath or whichever other old fuckers they book.

I've used Gigantic before and it was fine but it was for a small venue gig so I justed turned up at the door to collect the tixs.

It's a fair comment, in such a short space of time they've managed to become as equally dull or even duller than Radiohead, so credit where it's due.
