I'm doing a spotify playlist for a NYE party tonight- is there a more rocky or more dancey version of Auld Lang Syne around?

I'm sure someone who played Reading last year did a more rocky version but I can't remember who? (That's how I'm justifying posting this here )

I'm not sure what size Fatboy Slim is tbh- he headlined Bestival once but played fairly low down the last time he was there I think...

Oh well, enjoyed them at Bestival.

Fatboy Slim would be an odd booking for R+L, I'd probably say lower mainstage as he'd get a fair bit of interest, but most of it casual. He played twice last time he was at Bestival, once in the Big Top, so total crowds would be about that of a mainstage late afternoon for there.

Just watching last night's Jools Holland Hootenanny. The Hives looked good, and with them doing festivals next summer and Benn talking of 'rewarding acts who'd impressed him', they must be quite likely for a decent spot on the main stage. 5th/6th?

i would say if theyre back they'll headline the tent or be 3rd or 4th main...

They sold out Roundhouse pretty quickly but I remember tickets weren't particularly expensive on re-sale; I'd say 5th would be perfect for them.

I was worried that if they subbed, they'd never make the jump. A ninety minute set should see them play at least one from every album.

Mountains will be incredible, and their new songs are ridiculously heavy live.
