Has to be said.

Biffy Clyro

Sabbath

SOAD

Eminem

Pretty strong set if true, I'm going based on the that they'll get SOAD and Sabbath, but admit it could be one or the other.

Bloc Party and Jack White I'd say are the strong sub options there and I reckon the less wanted or thought of sub would be the Biffy day.

And there was everyone just talking along nicely before some w*nker comes in and starts shit up again! If it ain't you mind, it's someone else.

Jump: Do yourself and favour and stick to predictions.

Pretty sure a guy before me said and Mumford Rumor for V, which then lends to the point of discussion. Deal with it or do 1 to be honest.

I've said nothing to provoke this, like last time either.

I can't see Editors & Deftones being that high imo. Why do people keep predicting Deftones as 3rd as they are about the same size last time they played and they didn't get a huge crowd or weren't that impressive to me?

Hissy fit :P

I have always had Editors as 3rd in my predictions, if new album is good i definitely think they will be big enough

As for Deftones, i have always put them down as 4th, the new album is good but hasn't really sold as well as Diamond Eyes. However if they are 3rd i wouldn't complain, i think they would pull it off!

Matt_Davies - You started nothing. You are on a forum therefore allowed to say a potential band for this fest now is a Rumor for a different one.

Jumps view is that every thread should be based solely on that festival and never mentioned another festival at all. Even if you went into the V forum and stated they were a Rumor, someone is likely to say, meaning not playing Reading and Leeds lol.

    • Madonna lived in the UK for absolutely ages and I think is still largely London-based at the moment.  I'm sure she'll be well aware.     But it wouldn't need to be either / or.  Lots of acts do both  - Glastonbury for the hype and BST for the pay.
    • There is a chance that Norton's reaction was very much like our reaction, because people in this country tend to think 'big = Glastonbury'.   Having said that, though, I'm fairly sure they've gone for her again this time, and it's broken down. Whether it's only just broken down or not, I'm not sure, but I'd air on the side of - they thought they had her, up to a certain point.
    • Yeah, I did wonder if they might be getting too big for Piece Hall now. Wet Leg did Castlefield this year and were subbing them at Tramlines. Wishful thinking! I'd happily see them do another outdoor headline in the north of England, wherever it might be (except R+L, which I'm def too old for now 😂)
    • You've certainly got a bunch of American acts who absolutely adore the festival and are willing to bring peanuts for it. You can never discount The Killers on that basis.
    • Law unto herself, Madge. But I think, for a certain generation, Hyde Park still has a touch of mystery and magic - that and Wembley Stadium.
