Dunno Neil. Modric back and looking happy, Bale fully fit, Parker fitting into the team well, Friedel playing well in goal and organising the defence, Adebayor looking sharp. They could do well.

they still can't score goals (I know, they scored 4 yesterday, but they were gifts). They've got no attack that's worth speaking of.

They've a better first team and squad than Liverpool or Arsenal.

as individuals, perhaps. As a team, I can't see it.

Although they should've put Liverpool to the sword yesterday, it should have been 4 nil way sooner than it was.

That's my point - and even then, those 4 were gifts.

Without being gifted those goals, they had very few chances overall against a team a long way below its best who had two sent off, tho the chances they had were as a good as they get - and they missed them.

Last season their main handicap was scoring goals, and it looks like this season will be much the same.

Worst Liverpool performance I've seen in years - including anything that happened during the Hodgocaust.

:lol::lol:

Yep, very true. They miss Meirlese(sp?), Henderson is no winger, and they need Kelly back. And I can't ever see Carroll & Suarez working out either.

May be Kenny learnt something useful yesterday that he won't repeat, tho I'm not hopeful given the later substitutions he made yesterday which were the wrong choices by a long way IMO.

Agree with Nal, haven't seen Liverpool play that badly in years, but think Spurs deserve credit.

I made a point of starting what I said with it being a deserved win - it was. No other team deserved to win that game.

Didn't think Liverpool really created anything substantial all game ....

I agree. They were rubbish. And that's why I think Spurs weren't all that either.

What an ace weekend of football, the best moment- Carragher trying to get Chrtel subbed off as opposed to sent off, amazing scenes from the yard dog, cart horse- Quick no one will notice, sub him off Kenny!

I don't feel sorry for him for anything other than the fee chief, so can't really say ignore it. I certainly don't feel sorry for him having his lifestyle, just that see a young player that had a promising half year last season, and then becomes the butt of jokes nationwide for business done above his head.

Really disappointed with the away fans tonight. Been in great voice all night, and then a few go and ruin it with fucking Istanbul chants. Munich chants aswell supposedly, but no excuses either way.

Twats.

Closer to one of the worst ever. Just eight separate words, to a tune that virtually every other sings a song too. Not clever, not original, and only very mildly amusing.

Particularly surprising, given Man Utd's (away) reportoire is usually pretty good when compared to most other clubs.

I disagree that Man Utd are one of the best away support , unless you are talking in terms of quantiy not quality. Maybe its just because I have my lower league hat on, but to me it takes a lot more effort to be a lower league fan, regulalrly going to downtordden stadiums with poor facilities, watching avergae journeyman footballer with little success.
