harsh doesn't even begin to describe, to me it was an appauling decision, not even a foul in my opinion. Lets be honest if Nani wasn't rolling round on the floor or even protesting, then it can't have been bad. Fait play to city for making a game of it in the second half, but the ref ruined what was shaping up to be a great contest, a real shame. I really hope that city do get it overturned.

As for the Liverpool Utd draw, can't see how it won't kick off between the fans now. Hope i'm wrong

No the fact that nani wasn't appealing for anything is what tells me it was a good challenge. Yes both fett were just off the ground but he certainly didn't fly into the challenge in a way that would take the man whatever happened. had that decision gone against ferdinand are you really saying you'd have thought it was a "red all day long". i have my doubts.

As I said earlier it looked harsh but by the rules he had to go, nani jumped out of the way, if he hadn't of done it could have been nasty.... if it would have been the likes of Rooney jumping in like that we'd be having a totally different discussion about the red card

I just can't see how it can be overturned?

Some tasty draws for the 4th round. Can't be unhappy about getting lower league teams, but going away is always difficult in the cup. I reckon West Brom/Norwich should be a good game.

Reports of Warnock being sacked by QPR. Seems a strange decision to me, not sure who's around to replace him. I can't see Mark Hughes wanting it. There's enough talent in that team to stay up, but a lot of egos that'll need careful managing. Be interesting to see.

Its a great draw for us if we can cause a shock and get past brighton. In fact in terms of clubs to draw I would say its probably best for us after man u, liverpool, chelsea, spurs and everton. To beat a championship side at home is a huge ask for a club at our level but if they play a few reserves and we get a bit of luck then stranger things have happened. A premiership v non league match would also be guaranteed tv which would be huge for us. Its frustrating being an either/or in an fa cup draw as you get so excited yet know theres a huge chance that your never even going to get the game.

As for warnock, I agree its harsh. To me the qpr takeover was too late for warnock to get the best out of the transfer market. I would expect qpr to be in a group of 7 or 8 sides fighting to avoid relegation and thats where they are. I sometimes dont knoe what owners expect.

Just a few things.

1) Allardyce is a fat bung taking hoofball merchant that doesn't understand the world's oldest cup competition and is a c**t.

2) Fair play to the Wednesday fans, excellent fun before, during, and after the game.

He was already blowing up before rooneys protest, harsh red card but he went in with two feet off the ground and so he has to go, four match ban too

City are appealing it but I can't see how it will get overturned?

that's less of a red card than the Rodwell one that got recinded.

Utd got HUGELY lucky with that, they were going to get whipped otherwise.

We were winning.

yep, you were, with a great goal (as were the others) .... but also with the first kicks you'd had with the ball in that first ten minutes, and with City's defence asleep as a result.

City were HUGELY on top ... that might not have worked out as goals of course, but I'd have been surprised if it hadn't given the chances that City had already had.

And of course the fact that Utd nearly blew it despite a 3 goal lead and a man advantage gives a small clue.

If that sending off hadn't happened then another 6-1 loss looked to be on the cards.

I bet you can't find of my posts which call LFC racist... Not one...

I said they are disgusting for defending racist actions...

They say they will give a life ban to the fan who did this and have apologised just off the back of an allegation from a player... but they protect their multi million pound investment who has already been shown to have used racist language and say its one persons word against another...

The two face of it all is beggars belief... and you are one of the biggest cheerleaders for it... Shame on you...

yes, we all know that if your wife was wrongly accused and convicted of any criminal offence you'd be at the front of the queue to throw eggs at her rather than defend her.

Seems to pass everyone by that qpr v chelsea could be on the cards.

Legally could terry and ferdinand play against each other? Not interfering with witnesses and all that.

Not sure how it works in a legal sense, but common sense shouldn't get in the way of them facing each other on the field.

Unless someone is expecting to see Terry handing over a wad of twenties and having a quiet word with Anton about dropping the charges?

More great PR for LFC

Women in the Merseyside region advised to dress as a full back to avoid being beaten-

http://www.metro.co....cion-of-assault

or alternatively, a great opportunity for people to mis-represent the facts as something they're not. ;)

Cos according to that article, not only was Downing arrested for assault but the woman involved was arrested for assault too.

So that makes the possible scenarios hugely different from the one it's being presented as by those looking for any reason to have a pop at LFC from any angle.

But hey, why let the facts get in the way of a good story? It's whipping time for LFC, so they desderve everything they get, while the club thjat has a player up on three separate sexual assault charges continues to play him without a whisper being heard. ;)

Interesting stat, after coming on after 60 mins, Paul Scholes made 71 passes (97% complete), more than any Man City player in the entire game.

while there was nothing about Scoles' play to much criticise, there was - I think - a huge factor that might have led to such impressive stats.

And that was that City didn't seem to give a fuck that he was on the pitch. They let him have the ball and they let him have all the space he wanted. Instead they put their efforts into ensuring that the other players were marked.

I'm guessing that had more to do with City having ten men than them thinking that Scoles was so shit that he could be given a free run, but whatever it was they defo didn't seem to much bothered about him being on the pitch.

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
