Good point. City should sell this one out whatever you have thought.

Everton only got 29,000 the other day for a league game and only been getting 32/33,000ish generally I think, yet they want a new stadium. Football's too expensive ain't it.

You are TOTALLY missing the point...

I was presenting a series of events that could of given the WRONG impression... An innocent song about Suarez and someone screams some abuse that sounds racist but wasn't...

But to be frank, the cause saying someone didn't throw a comment looks weak now given comments from your own fans.

Its not an inept point... You just go all defensive and don't listen what people are saying...

Your self interest makes you look silly at times...

I never took them as on entity...

The one dick who shouted is a c**t...

I do question the thousands who sang the Suarez song after seeing him cry...

I do question the thousands who booed every touch of the ball he made after the incident...

That was shameful...

Oldham fans released what had happened... Your telling me Liverpool fans couldn't of added up the numbers...

Of course this has no bearing on the rest of the pool fans who showed much more dignity...

Which, to my mind, strummer has explained. The Suarez song was being song before in that match, it was being sung in their match against us. It wasn't sung in response. The booing could easily have been for timewasting, or for a foul that occurred imminently after, as suggested in a Liverpool fan thread Strummer linked to.

And yes, I don't believe the fans could have worked out what happened. It's very easy to miss something events of a game, and as has been said, it could easily have been a coin thrown or something else. With the benefit of hindsight, I don't believe many fans would be happy about booing, nor would fans of any club.

Strummer you got class dont worry mate and a pleasure to have banter and more serious discussions with...

Cant really comment on the issue as only seen the headlines.

We in shropshire have in my opinion more disgusting chants. Telford(non league team), chanting gary speed songs at a wrexham game.

So filth fans everywhere, from the biggest to smallest.

Just re-read it...

The just to remind you was aimed at the video...

You seem to disconnect the kop breaking out with a Suarez song... and then booing.... and more Suarez Song... and then booing... and the more suazez song...

From what was going on that field...

The video was to remind you of that....

If that clears it up a bit for you... I then said if it was my club I would find it disgusting...

Its up to you to look at yourself and ask why you don't come to the same conclusion...

Back to the 3rd round.

Delighted to come back from behind to beat Blackburn. 2/3 wins against them this season, after 6 years of having them as a bogey team. Not seen the goals yet, but reports and the radio suggested Ben Arfa's was after a great run, delighted to see him playing and scoring. Hopefully he'll keep his place for the league.

Not many upsets today, credit to Wrexham for getting that draw at Brighton, and Swindon beating Wigan is over a league jump. Several of the Prem sides have put out fairly full teams though, Us, Blackburn, West Brom, Bolton, Villa, Everton, Fulham. Fair play. Maybe more teams are really psyched for the cup this season.
