Was more up for seeing QOTSA but all the rest of my group wanted to see Beyonce.

Not really my cup of tea but thought she pt on an excellent show and was worth going to just to see a few of my 6'4 nephews dancing to "Single ladies" with all the hand waggling etc pmsl.

Thought she was a worthy headliner and nice to see a woman in this spot for a change. As usual there was plenty else on for those who didn't want to watch her

Horrible woman.

I think she makes great pop tunes, and from what I saw on the TV she delivered a cracking headline show, purists will argue it's not very Glastonbury, but let's face it, just about anything is Glastonbury now. Life Is But A Dream was a bit scary though, borderline personality disorder.

I'm not a huge Beyonce fan , I don't own any of her records and I was on my way to The Streets when I caught her first three numbers. Must admit credit to her and all that she was rather good. One hell of a big production, full on American show,, fireworks, pure pop, glittery costume,it was all going on.

Please can we not overlook the fact that she sounds like a strangled cat?! She's clearly a money-grabbing whore (she makes "music" specifically for adverts and perfumes, ffs) but her noises are definitely the most offensive thing about her.

Another random groan about this utter c**t of a human from me.

Shes shes banned all photographers (apart from her own personal guy) from her current tour because of some of the recent unflattering photos of her! So now she knows which exactly which camera to look into and pose. Some of the "angelic" live shots are absolutely ridiculous.

People (young girls) are paying 100 quid to go see what is essentially an exercise in maximising profit and vanity. Its as contrived as you'll ever see anywhere. No shame whatsoever. Yeah I know music industry has changed blah blah and Ill tolerate it to a degree but this is the pits.

I can't believe she headlined Glastonbury and so many people have bought into her bullshit. "Embedded photography"?! Like something Bush implemented in Iraq. The spirit of Heinrich Hoffman lives on. Sieg Heil!!

banning all photographers is utterly ridiculous, as if she's so beautiful that she's above having a bad photograph taken. the bad photographs are already out there, and any bigger person would've just laughed them off, but she's made such a fuss about them (think she may have even tried to get that 'one' photograph taken off the internet) that it's made her out to be a right dickhead

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
