I like the way that the music industry has tried to replace miming (generally a dismissive phrase) with lip-synching, a description that attempts to suggest a skill. If someone can't be sure of coping live then replace them with someone who can.

So while there's a very good reason to suspect that it was mimed, it might not have been.

I'd taken it as read that whenever there is a big public event that isnt specifically music the chances are its mimed/ pre-recorded/ lip-synced (whatever the difference is). Is it not too difficult to gt the sound right/ instruments set up in a very short period of time? Been this argument about things like the superbowl half time etc. for years.

I really enjoyed her at Glastonbury, not really bothered before, where as kool and the gang were a favourite of mine for years till I saw them at rewind, they ruined it for me.
